New Instructor, New Style

New instructor direct from the Bolshoi. I have gotten used to a new teacher giving a little leeway with a new student as we learn each other’s tastes and expectations. Think she gave me three barre exercises before and then she started giving minor corrections. It was pretty much a technique class but it was really interesting to see the difference in expectations from a teacher who has trained with the Bolshoi to one trained with Perm. Bolshoi is about artistry as it is strength, Perm is about technique and strength.
